Basic Information Section (Required): Back
Organizer Unique ID: A string that uniquely identifies the Organizer. This must be the same for all events submitted by the Organizer. This is a required field.
Unique ID of this record: A string that uniquely identifies the record, not necessarily the event. The primary use of this is to easily identify records. If one is not part of the Organizer's event characterizations, enter the value "none" and one will be automatically computed. This is a required field.
Start date of the event : A date in the format yyyy-mm-dd (example: 2003-01-29). This is a required field.
Date event info updated: Date stamp of the event record. It must be a date in the format yyyy-mm-dd (example 2003-01-29). This is a required field.
Status: Select a status from the picklist. If an appropriate value is not in the list, contact the Calendar administrator. This is a required field.
Event title: A string that is the title of the event. It should be less than 50 characters for convenience of presentation. This is a required field.
Event long title: A string that is the title of the event, and is more completely than "Event title".
Event description: A string that provides descriptive information in addition to the event title. It should be less than 50 characters for convenience of presentation.
Event long description: Descriptive information more extensive than "Event description".
Event unique ID hidden from public: A string that is the Organizer's unique event identifier for internal use.
Event ID as seen by public: A string that is the Organizer's event identifier, to be seen by the public. See "Part of event" below. This is required if any "part of" event refers to this event.
Part of event: If the event is associated with another event, such as a workshop prior to a conference, then this section should be filled out.
Event ID: A string that is the "Event ID as seen by public" of the associated event. This is a required field.
Comment: A string that is relevant to "Part of event".
Event family (keywords): A comma separated string that describes the family the event belongs to (example: Introductory CRA Training). This is intended to be used in searches.
Keywords: A comma separated string describing the event (example: training, CRA, clinical trial, GCP). This isintended to be used in searches.
Format: A string describing the format of the event (example: Workshop, Seminar, Expo).
Agenda URL: A URL where the conference agenda is located (example: http://www.bestprograms.com/conf/conf101.html ).
Program URL: A URL where the conference program is located (example: http://www.bestprograms.com/conf/conf101prog.pdf ).
Registration URL: A URL where the conference registration form is located (example: http://www.bestprograms.com/conf/conf101reg.html ).
In Conjunction with: A comma separated string containing the names or acronyms of organizations also associated with the event (example: ACS, DIA). This is intended to be used in searches.
Start Time: Starting time of the event. It may be:
1) A canonical time format of hh:mm(+/-)hh:mm where hh:mm is a 24-hour time, and (+/-)hh:mm is the offset from UTC (example: 09:00-06:00).
2) A non-canonical format of hh:mm(AM/PM)( )(TimeZone) where hh:mm is a 12-hour time; (example: 09:00AM EST).End Date: A date in the format yyyy-mm-dd (example: 2003-01-29). This is a required field.
End Time: End time of the event. See "Start Time" for format.
Event Date Comment: A string.
Registration End Date: A date in the format yyyy-mm-dd (example: 2003-01-29).
Geographical Record (Enter zero or one of these): Back
Enter either a long record (city, state, province, country, continent ), or just a continent.
Long record:
City: A string that is the city name.
State: Select U.S. 2-character state abbreviation from the picklist.
Province: A string that is the province name.
Country: Select a country from the picklist. This is a required field.
Other: A string to be entered if Country is "Other".
Continent: Select a continent from the picklist. This is a required field.
Virtual Format Record (Enter zero or one of these): Back
Use if this is a "virtual" event.
Format: Select from the picklist. This is a required field.
Other: A string to be entered if Format is "Other".
URL: A URL where the event may be found.
Comment: A string.
Credits Record (Enter zero, one or more of these): Back
Use if educational credits are offered to attendees.
Crediting Agency: A string. This is a required field.
Credits: A string.
Comment: A string.
Contacts Record (Enter zero, one or more of these): Back
Use if the Organizer has contacts associated with this event.
Name: A string. This is a required field.
Telephone: A string.
Fax: A string.
Email: A valid email address.
Web Page: A valid URL.
Fee Record (Enter zero, one or more of these): Back
Use this to describe fees associated with this event.
Applies to: A string. This is a required field.
Special Conditions: A string.
Applies Until (date): A date in the format yyyy-mm-dd (example: 2003-01-29).
Currency: A string.
Amount: A string.
Language Record (Enter zero, one or more of these): Back
Use this to describe languages associated with this event.
Language: Select from the picklist. This is a required field.
Other: A string to be entered if Language is "Other".
Accomodations Record (Enter zero, one or more of these): Back
Use this to describe accomodations associated with this event.
Name: A string. This is a required field.
Contact: A string.
Specials: A string.
Travel Record (Enter zero, one or more of these): Back
Use this to describe travel associated with this event.
